Learn how to identify trees in their summer state. Spend the morning in the classroom, learning to identify trees using leaf, bud and twig characteristics. We will work through the various keys available and practice on a collection of cuttings. In the afternoon, we will walk around Astonbury Woods to put into practise the morning's learning and identify the trees.
Please bring your own packed lunch. Please note the afternoon walk will be approx. 2-3 miles in length across uneven, possibly muddy ground.
£13 per person.
