Trying to identify as many species as possible, on land and in the water. Last year we found a rare spider!

Please sign up to let us know you are coming - you don't need to come or stay for the whole time. Some parking is available at Waterford village hall. (Hall will be open during the event)

Please meet at the Waterford Village Hall.

  • 12:00 Meet at the Hall
  • 12:15 Short walk to site. Once on site time will be spent looking around habitats for different species.
  • 1:30 stop for lunch (Please bring a packed lunch, hot drinks will be available at the Hall)
  • 4:30 -5pm finish

  • 3:30 Closer look at watery minibeasts

Please bring clothing for the weather, water, packed lunch, identification guides and binoculars if you have them. Microscopes will be available to look at specimens in greater depth and we will have id guides available for use.

The hall will be open the whole time for hot drinks, toilets and information.
