Spend an evening at the badger hide at Tewin Orchard and hope to see badgers that live there! Learn about the fascinating life of badgers, and head down to the hide with them, as it gets dark to spend time watching the badgers and other wildlife foraging, grooming and playing.
When booking please remember that badgers are wild creatures. Although viewing has a very high success rate, we can’t guarantee badgers will always turn up.
Please note that there are no toilet facilities at the hide. The pathways are uneven, potentially muddy and have fallen apples, tree roots and other trip hazards. Unfortunately, the pathway to the hide is therefore not currently suitable for wheelchairs or those with restricted mobility. If you have any questions about accessibility, please contact events@hmwt.org.
Open to any Panshanger Park Wildlife Watch members (as of July 2024) aged 8-12.
