Witness a natural winter wonder at Hilfield Reservoir. Wrap up warm and windproof and wear sturdy footwear - wellies and thick socks are recommended. If you'd like to sit down whilst watching the gulls, consider bringing with a small insulated mat. An old cushion in a shopping bag works well! Alternatively, please bring a camp chair but you will need to carry this with you on the tour of the reserve. Please be aware you will need to ascend and descend a flight of approx. 100 shallow steps up the dam wall - there is a hand rail. The ground may be muddy and uneven in places.
