Together with local artists and Trust volunteers Marieke Bosman and Adrian Porter, you will spend time in the Park to see what bit of nature draws your attention. We will then look closely at that tree, plant or bird, to get a really good sense of it. You might do this by sketching it, painting it, or writing about it - it is up to you. Marieke and Adrian will show you some simple techniques to help you. The idea is not to produce perfect art, but to really immerse yourself in nature and to make a nice record of it that reminds you of it. The workshop is open to anyone over 12 years old, and you don't need to have any experience of (or talent for) drawing, writing or painting.
Please bring a pencil, a rubber, something to draw or write on (ideally plain paper and a hardcover, so it is easy to use in the field), and any other art materials you would like to use - this can be plain pencils or a pen, a super simple water colour set and brush, or colour pencils - no need to buy expensive art equipment.
Aimed at adults, but older children (12+) welcome
