Interested in learning how to tell an Oak from an Elm, or a Sycamore from an Ash, during the winter when there are few, if any leaves to go from? This guided walk lead by a local expert around Gobions Wood, should leave you with the knowledge to identify quite a few common tree species during the winter months.

This walk is weather dependent, so will be cancelled in the worst of weather. However the weather can be changeable and cold at this time of year, so please wear appropriate clothing. The footpaths in the wood can become muddy too, so please wear appropriate footwear.

We will not stop for a break during the walk, but please feel free to bring a drink and snack to have on the way around if you so wish.
